If you are an active member in the UCC, in good standing, Your Church has 501c3 nonprofit status. There are 4 different documents in UCC that combined demonstrate your 501c3 status. 1– a letter from National recognizing your church as in good standing, 2—section of the UCC Yearbook indicating Federal Income Tax Exemption, 3– Church listing with your church name highlighted, and 4—the Federal letter to UCC indicating they have approved the 501c3 status for UCC.
